Journey with Jesus: Life as a Christian
Hi bloggers, how are you? Today must have been a wonderful day for you. It was for me. I hope you enjoy my blog on music. How was it? Share it in the comments for me would ya? Anyways, in my first blog, it was an introduction to the Allycat blog. I mentioned that this blog will be diverse with topics covering music, faith, culture and society and many other things. I plan to do each topic days so you can enjoy and get the latest scope. So enjoy the blog and please drop a comment or two. I want to interact with the audience who are readers like me.
Anyways, today it will be about faith and religion. Now some of you are of different religions and that's cool. Some of you are non-denominational and that's cool too. For me, I'm a Christian. I love the faith and being in church fellowship and participating in church. I was grown into church and over the years it has been good. However, church cannot save you into the eternal kingdom. It's the relationship we have with our creator that matters. We live in a sinful world and we need the savior of the world, Jesus Christ, in our hearts. When you have a relationship with Jesus, accepting him as your Lord and Savior in your life, it is the best thing you can ever do. I am a testimony of that and I'm sure you are too if you are a Christian. There are so many testimonies one can share of how God miraculously change their lives. I mean tears would come in my eyes when I hear someone shares their testimony. As a Christian, God has done so much for me that I can't even count. When we read the Bible and we see God's powerful love for us. God had a plan even before sin came into the world by sacrificing the Lamb of God, Jesus, to die for our sins and hallelujah he rose from the dead and he lives forevermore. King Jesus is coming back for us and we both Christians and non-Christians need to prepare for his coming. If you ready in Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3 it speaks of the end times and it is indeed happening today especially in Matthew 24 where Jesus speaks of the end times to his disciples. The gospel is spreading like wildfire to the whole world and it is up to you to decide for no one can serve two masters. Who would you chose for your life, the world and it's temporary pleasures or Jesus and eternity with him forever? Chose wisely today.
It's not easy being a Christian since we face temptations, trials and tests that tests our faith daily. However, those are not to weaken us but to strengthen us. When I read about the reformers and the early Christians and how they have faith when faced with intense persecution from both Imperial and Papal Rome, they never recant their faith and through their supernatural faith, they inspire others to be followers of Christ and preach the Gospel. We have to reach that level with our relationship with God even if it means people leaving you, you lost the things of this world, your friends, your partners or your love ones for Christ it is worth it. The Bible also says so. The journey to eternity in strait and narrow but as long as we turn our eyes to Jesus, we will make it till the end.
My encouragement to you all out there is to give Jesus a chance in your life. Spend more time with him and get to now your creator, redeemer, savior and king. He has all the time in the world for you. Give him your time too. Also read the Bible, the powerful word and sword of God. If you don't understand some parts, ask a pastor or someone to help you in your Bible study or even join a Bible study group. Best of all, ask God for the Holy Spirit to reveal himself to you through the word of God. In addition, have a prayer time, a one on one conversation with God. Tell God what you have gone through, pour your heart out to him, he knows and he understands.
So this is the end of this blog and I hope you learned and enjoy it. You can share your testimonies of how God change your life for the better in the comments and let's talk together. Anyways, bye bloggers, see you next time.😁😁
